MEMBERSHIP

VRB membership is now open per the qualifications noted in the Role & Rules document on this web site.

As you are aware availability of grounds for our sport are becoming more and more challenging to access. Virginia Retriever Benefit (VRB) was formed to provide suitable grounds in Virginia on which field trials, hunt tests, training of retrievers and club training days would be held. VRB will oversee the care and maintenance of these grounds, and provide arrangements for the fair and orderly use of the grounds by VRB members and member Clubs. By joining VRB you will have property available to be used for your individual training and club oriented events.

Many of you have made contributions to VRB over the last several years to this end. Now VRB has a real beginning and will be going forward in the coming years to enhance our current grounds and provide availability of other grounds.

Participation as a member in some capacity (individual, club or pro) will make a contribution to this objective and give you increased opportunity to have different grounds to train on.

The current grounds in operation are:

Prince Edward County, 462 acres, known as VRB1
Charlotte County, 219 acres, known as VRB2
